  Jason M. Horner, is active as a choral conductor in many venues in the

Twin Cities area.  He is artistic director of the Elizabethan Syngers.  He directs the A Capella Choir and Cantemus at Westwood Lutheran Church in St. Louis Park, MN.   Jason currently directs the 6th Grade, 7th Grade, and 8th Grade choirs at Roosevelt Middle Scholl in Blaine, MN.  He was associate artistic director of the St. John's Boys Choir at St. John's University in Collegeville, MN.

   He founded and was artistic director of the Fergus Falls Men’s Chorale.   He has taught k-12 vocal music in both public and private schools in Minnesota and Indiana. He designed, developed and taught curricula for music theory courses and a co-curricular course called “Garage Band.”

   Jason received honors as a student conductor with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir as well as Henry Leck's Creating Artistry summer conducting workshop.  He attended the Berkshire Choral Festival as a Choral Scholar this July and worked with notable conductor, Simon Carrington, formerly a founding member of the King's Singers.

    He holds a Master of Music degree in Conducting from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN and Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.   He is a member of Early Music America,  the American Choral Director's Association, Chorus America, and the Minnesota Music Educators Association (MENC).

    He enjoys living in the Merriam Park neighborhood in Saint Paul, MN with his wife, Soprano Kristen Bond, their 3 cats; Julius, Gee, and Toba; and  two parrotlets, Ike and Satie.
